Bespoke Barbecues

We have a purpose-built three feet diameter communal campfire/barbecue.  Made from stainless steel in Lancashire by a specialist barbecue manufacturer, the firepit has three independent grills measuring approximately one foot square – large enough to cook a BBQ for two people.

Communal logs are available.  These are marked on the ends with green stain, to differentiate them from the privately available logs.

We also have a “frontier stove” which is a half-barrell, flat-topped stove which will provide heat for the communal kettles.  This stove will continue to provide heat in the unlikely event that you should encounter rain over the weekend(!).

We have a number of small fire grates (measuring approximately 18 inches square) which serve as both a campfire and BBQ.  The grill height is adjustable.  The grill is large enough to cook a BBQ for four or five people.  The may be hired for £10 (for the whole weekend).   As the grates cost over £300 each we require a cash deposit of £40 payable on collection of the grate and repayable when it is returned.  We also include a set of BBQ tools so you only needed to bring your own crockery and cutlery.

Log packs (which include two firelighters and a handful of kindling) may be bought from us for £5.
